Cloud Sharing

Share and sync your markups across team members in real-time with cloud collaboration.

Cloud Sharing enables real-time collaboration on PDF markups, allowing your entire team to view and contribute to document reviews simultaneously.

Overview

When you share a project via the cloud, all markups are automatically synchronized across all team members viewing the same document. Changes appear instantly, ensuring everyone stays aligned during the review process.

How to Share

Sharing a Project

  1. Open the project you want to share
  2. Click the Share button in the top toolbar
  3. Enter team member email addresses or select from your organization
  4. Set permission levels (View, Comment, or Edit)
  5. Click Send Invitations

Permission Levels

  • View - Can see all markups but cannot add or modify
  • Comment - Can add comments and view all markups
  • Edit - Full access to create, modify, and delete markups

Real-Time Collaboration

Live Cursors

See where team members are working with live cursor indicators showing:

  • User name
  • Current location on the drawing
  • Active tool selection

Markup Attribution

Every markup shows:

  • Creator's name
  • Timestamp
  • Modification history

Conflict Resolution

When multiple users edit simultaneously:

  • Last edit wins for overlapping changes
  • All changes are preserved in version history
  • Undo/redo works independently for each user

Sync Status

Monitor your connection status in the top-right corner:

  • 🟢 Connected - Real-time sync active
  • 🟡 Syncing - Changes being uploaded
  • 🔴 Offline - Changes saved locally, will sync when reconnected

Tips & Best Practices

  • Stable Connection - Use a reliable internet connection for best performance
  • Clear Communication - Use comments to explain complex markups
  • Regular Saves - Changes auto-save, but manually save before closing
  • Version Control - Create snapshots before major review sessions
  • Access Management - Regularly review and update team permissions

Offline Mode

If you lose connection:

  • Continue working normally
  • All changes are saved locally
  • Automatic sync when connection restored
  • Conflict resolution if others made changes

Troubleshooting

Markups not syncing?

  • Check your internet connection
  • Refresh the page
  • Verify you have edit permissions

Can't see team member's changes?

  • Ensure you're viewing the same version
  • Check if filters are hiding certain markup types
  • Refresh to force sync

Slow performance with many users?

  • Consider breaking large projects into smaller sections
  • Archive completed markups
  • Close unused browser tabs
