v0.9 makes the markup the takeoff. The marks you draw to communicate are the same ones that get counted and priced, with no second pass and no export to a spreadsheet to add it up.
Tables
A table lives in a drawing's version tree and turns tagged marks into quantities. Columns take off from the page, hold what you type, look up a rate, or calculate from the other columns, and the numbers keep up as you draw. Group rows into sections with subtotals, split a row across the values of a field, or freeze a table once its numbers have gone out.
Presets
A preset defines the fields a kind of mark carries: door type, level, finish, whatever your tables need to filter, group and calculate on. Tag a mark once and every table can measure it, break it down by any of those fields, and price it. Keep a set as a workspace template so the next drawing starts from your standards instead of a blank page.
Libraries
Your own price books. Define the columns a row carries, import an existing book from CSV, and link a table to it so a rate lives in one place and every table follows it.
