v0.8 is here — attach files to comment threads, save your own markup swatches, and open Google Drive PDFs in Deta right from Drive.
Comment Attachments
- Attach files to comments and replies — Add photos, PDFs, spreadsheets, and other documents right inside a markup thread
- Preview or download — Images show inline in the thread; any attachment can be opened or downloaded
- Carry through PDF round-trips — Exported PDFs keep attachments with the thread, and imported PDF attachments come back into Deta
Markup Swatches
- Save your colors — Keep a personal strip of the markup colors you use most
- Per-workspace override — Use a different default markup color in one workspace without changing your overall default
- Edit swatches in place — Add, replace, or remove saved swatches directly from the picker
Custom Drawing Scales
- Shared workspace scales — Add a custom scale once and everyone in the workspace can use it

Google Drive Marketplace
- Open with Deta — Open a PDF from Google Drive directly in Deta
- Picker-based import — Import the specific PDFs you choose, including files from Shared Drives
- Limited-access connection — Deta only gets access to the files you explicitly pick or open

- New versions no longer open blank — Uploading a new version now shows the drawing right away instead of a blank page
